RENO, Nev (KRNV & MyNews4.com) – Nevada Women’s Basketball Head Coach Jane Albright Thursday announced the signing of two prep standouts to National Letters of Intent.

They are Ashlee Jones, a 5-9 guard from Sacramento, Calif., and Iman Lathan, a 5-9 guard from Murrieta, Calif.

Both of the student-athletes will enroll next fall at Nevada.

Coach Jane Albright said, "We are excited to add two talented and athletic guards to our team... Both of them come from outstanding high schools and AAU programs, and have had great individual and team success. Ashlee and Iman are great students in the classroom and are also young people of great character that match the vision of Nevada women’s basketball."

Jones led her Bradshaw Christian High School team to a 11-1 league finish during the 2011-12 season as a captain, averaging 19.2 ppg., 5.4 rpg., 2.9 spg., and 2.5 apg. She was named All-State Division V Third Team and received All-Metro Honorable Mention following her junior season.

Lathan played the 2011-12 season for Temecula Valley High School where she averaged 25 ppg., 2.8 rpg., and 1.9 spg. She was named to the All-CIF Southern Section and All-Valley (Temecula Valley) teams after leading the Golden Bears to the quarterfinals in the Southwestern League. Lathan also received Temecula Valley High School’s Scholar Award and was named Offensive Player of the Year for her team. She will finish out her senior year playing at Perris High School.
