Question:
From the Ask Joe File, one of our viewers has a question about a park in her neighborhood that was damaged by fire.
Kari Renner asked if the playground equipment at Del Cobre Park in Wingfield Springs is going to be replaced at some point?

Answer:
There was a fire at Del Cobre Park last July. It was apparently set intentionally, but no one was ever arrested.
Joe checked with Adam Mayberry at Sparks City Hall, and there is good news. He said the park equipment and playground structures are going to be replaced within 60 days. The cost is about $65,000, most of which will be covered by insurance.
In any case, look for things to get back to normal in the next couple of months.
