SPARKS, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- A one-year-old girl fell out of second-story window Wednesday morning and survived the fall.

The one-year-old fell after she pushed through the window-screen while playing with her older sister on a nearby bed, according to the Sparks Police Department. The baby landed partially on a bush and appears to be okay but is being transported to the hospital by REMSA for further examination. At this time, officials are reporting the incident as an accident, but an investigation will be underway.

It should be reported as an act of stupidity. An older sister,if old enough to be responsible for a kid that age, should have been watching her closer. If the older one was still under 6 or so-DOUBLE stupid. I'm sure the parent has beat herself up enough about this by now though.

So WHY was a 1 year old left alone with an older sibling? I don't get it. I've always kept a one year old AWAY from windows.
