Bank of America helps Nevada homeowners

Agree with Andrea. BofA thoroughly screwed me around on the house my ex kept in the divorce (she never refinanced). I offered to pay IN FULL if they would simply let me restart the payments at their current rate. Nope. Didn't fit their "formula". Transferred from rep to rep, never speaking with anyone who had the power to make decisions. Over 75 calls. Different stories and the complete runaround on every one. Filed complaints with BBB, the feds, and NV state attorney general. Finally, after all the mess, they "allowed" a shortsale to go through. Oh gee screw you BofA. On top of all of that, they "accidentally" put in a request for modification on my current home, which has NO late or missing payments whatsoever. Really? Couldn't tell the difference between accounts? What does that tell you about BofA? I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH BANK OF AMERICA AGAIN.

Wow! Dont know what Bank of America I have been dealing with. Over a year an a half of trying to get a modification, 6 "finalizing" packets of papers, everytime I call a different story. Now my "modification isnt any relief, they are just resetting my loan back to 30 years to make it current. I don't know who they are actually helping, every person I have spoke with that is dealing with Bank of America has the same story. The bank and a majority of the employees I have dealt with are misserable and could care less about helping anyone. As soon as you start to call and check on the status they just transfer you to someone else. I am starting to think Bank of America sends out these press releases just make it sound like they are really helping.
