Bean trial suffers another delay

FERNLEY, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The trial for a man accused of killing five people in and around Fernley has been delayed.

According to the Lyon County District Attorney's Office, Jeremiah Bean will be evaluated to determine if, intellectually, he is eliegible for the death penalty. The evaluation should take place anytime between now and August 21.

In October, Bean pleaded not guilty to 19 counts, including murder. His trial was scheduled to begin on Monday.
