CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A major victory for those looking to raise taxes to repair and update Washoe County's aging schools.

This morning, Assembly Bill 46, the bill that would raise sales and property taxes to pay for school district upgrades passed through the Assembly Ways and Means Committee. The bill now moves before the full assembly for a vote.
