Bishop Manogue Catholic High School Board names new president

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The Board of Directors of Bishop Manogue Catholic High School today announced that it has
selected Maureen “Mo” Kachurak to become BMCHS president effective July 1, 2013.

Kachurak, who will become the first female president in the 65-year history of Bishop Manogue, will replace interim President James Toner.

Kachurak, a graduate of Bishop Gorman Catholic High School in Las Vegas and the University of Nevada, Reno, has been involved for three decades with not-for-profit and for-profit community development in the Reno/Sparks area. Most notably, she was the Chief Executive Officer of the Boys and Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows from 1994 to 2005 and most recently serves as president and chairman of the Minnie B. Leonette Foundation. Kachurak was the Reno Catholic Diocese Volunteer of the Year in 2005 and was twice honored by the Nevada Women’s Fund as “Woman of the Year” in 1996 and 1999.
