RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Stand-up comedian and actor Bob Saget, best known for his role as Danny Tanner on the television show “Full House” will attend the 21st Annual Michael Bolton Charities (MBC) Benefit Concert and Dinner at the Eldorado on Aug. 25.
Award winner Richard Marx also recently announced that he will perform as part of the benefit concert. Saget and Marx join an already star-studded weekend with Bolton, legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason, and former “Family Feud” host and “Seinfeld” star John O’Hurley, who will act as Master of Ceremonies.
The MBC is an organization dedicated to raising awareness about violence against women and expanding opportunities for at-risk youth. This year’s event features a dinner and benefit concert on Sunday, Aug. 25 at the Eldorado Hotel Casino and a Celebrity Golf Classic on Monday, Aug. 26 at Montrêux Golf and Country Club.
The MBC dinner, which is returning to Reno for the second year in a row, will also honor Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto with The Michael Bolton Charities Lifetime Achievement Award. Gov. Brian Sandoval and Michael Bolton will co-present the award to Masto. Secretary of State Ross Miller will also be in attendance.
