BOCA DAM, Calif. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The Boca Fire that consumed 84 acres reached 100% containment late Monday night.
Michael Woodbridge with the US Forest Service says the fire was fully contained around 10 p.m. on Monday. Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire -- they are hoping to have an answer sometime Tuesday afternoon.

BOCA DAM, Calif. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The Boca Fire has grown to 84 acres, but crews have reached 30% containment.
According to Tahoe National Forest Public Affairs Officer Michael Woodbridge, crews have an upper hand on containment. Firefighters will be on scene through the night, and the Boca Springs campground has been reopened.
There have been no injuries, and no structures are threatened.
Original 4:18 p.m.
BOCA DAM, Calif. -- Cal Fire reports that they are fighting a brushfire east of Boca Dam, near the Hirschdale exit of Interstate 80.
According to the U.S. Forest Service, the Boca Fire has grown to approximately 60 acres with no containment. There are two helicopters and four air tankers fighting the blaze from the sky, and 13 engines, three crews and one hot shot crew on the ground.
The fire started around 3 p.m. near the Historic Boca Trailhead. Boca Springs Campground has been evacuated as a precaution.
There is no threat to Glenshire, or any other structures, at this time.
