CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — A man whose blanket-wrapped, duct-taped body was found Saturday in the Carson River by authorities investigating a bloody robbery scene at his home has been identified as the state's missing chief insurance examiner.

Carson City Coroner Ruth Rhines said Monday that 62-year-old William McCune was positively identified, but it could take several weeks for tests to show how he died.

Sheriff Ken Furlong said Sunday that 23-year-old Michael Evans was being held in Carson City and three alleged accomplices were jailed in Las Vegas pending their transfer in custody to face murder charges in McCune's death.

Anthony Elliot, Raul Garcia and Makyla Blackmore are due to face a judge in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

An aide to Furlong says they're expected back in Carson City later in the day.
