WENDOVER, Nev. (AP &, KRNV) — Wendover Sheriff’s Office has identified the body as 20-year-old male Christian Gutierrez.

Although officials are not sure how many vehicles struck Gutierrez, they believe he was attempting to cross the highway. They are not sure if it was a suicide, but they believe alcohol was involved.

The Utah Highway Patrol says a driver called dispatch about 3:30 a.m. Monday to report a possible dead animal on the road just east of Wendover, Nev.

When troopers arrived, they found a body that appeared to have been struck by multiple vehicles.

Investigators say they haven't been able to determine the gender of the victim and aren't sure when the person was hit initially.

The westbound lanes of I-80 were closed at mile marker No. 1 in Utah and traffic was diverted into Wendover until about 7:30 a.m. No other information has been released.

Start working at home with Google. It’s a great work at home opportunity. Just work for few hours. I earn up to $500 a week. I can’t believe how easy it was once I tried it out.
