RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- As of 12:30 p.m. today, the boil water order issued Tuesday evening for an area of Southwest Reno following a loss of system pressure has been rescinded.

Washoe County Department of Water Resources officials are in the process of delivering notices to all of the affected homes.

The event Tuesday impacted more than a dozen homes in the Roseview Lane area. The temporary loss of system pressure included both gas and water lines, which were quickly restored. A County water crew inadvertently damaged a gas main while investigating a water leak and both systems had to be shut down to facilitate repairs.

If you have any questions you may contact the Washoe County Water Resources office at (775) 954-4600.
