RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com)--Wolf Pack fans can show their team spirit off the field this weekend in a virtual food drive benefiting the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.

It's been a while since Boise State fans have challenged the Pack fans to a food drive, but this year the competition is fierce.

For fans traveling to the game, there will be a food drive for the Idaho Food Bank, but if you want to help our local organization, you can donate online at http://hungerbowl.org/virtual-food-drive . Once on that site, all you have to do is click on the mascot.

The "Hunger Bowl Challenge" goes now until game time. The Northern Nevada Food Bank feeds about 93,000 every month. One in four children in Northern Nevada live in a home where there is not enough food for three meals per day, and one in five people in Nevada needs to seek food assistance to make ends meet.

Every dollar raised during the Hunger Bowl Challenge can provide 3 meals to those in need.

The winner will be announced at the game in Boise this Saturday.
