CARSON CITY, Nev. ( &KRNV) -- Both suspects have now pleaded guilty in the case of a 101-year-old World War II veteran who was robbed and attacked in his Carson City home.

Robert Hernandez pleaded guilty Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in connection with the robbery of James Sorrentino in May. Jordan Burkhart had pleaded the previous Tuesday in District Court in Carson City. Both are scheduled to be sentenced August 26.

Detectives say both men forced their way into Sorrentino's home, attacking him and ransacking the house. They got away with a watch, a pocketknife and a wallet containing $30.

Sorrentino is recovering from his injuries.
