Brooks Denied Gun Purchase for One Year

Ironic, isn't it, that all these 'deny him a gun' types come out after this, when there is an easy target. Just last week KTVU (that's Fox11 here) had an investigation about how people come to reno to buy weapons at gunshows, then smuggle them back into CA. Seems like the hypocrisy is showing a little, folks.

I'm not the subject of the article and i don't claim to issue weapons. Y R U carrying on with a diatribe against me? this is an opinion page not a tee party lynch mob. I'm saying: all citizens are entitled to due process, that's in the Constitution. Seems like in NV all U need is an excuse, rather than real facts, to villify people. I'm no fan of this clown -apparently he craves bad publicity- but there are far worse wing nuts loose here-about. i'm sure they can fire (it) up any time anyway. In California,there are clear-cut rules about who can purchase a handgun or even a rifle. These are known, not just pontificated upon without explanation. Who R U, anyway? Too bad we can't read my earlier jokes about Mel Brooks and Albert Brooks.

I'm glad he will not be able to purchase a gun legally for a year. My next guess is that he will get his hands on one - illegally. I won't be surprised one bit when he makes the headlines for bustin' a cap in some peeps. LOL!!!!!!

Really Chief Conmay? Is this our law, because it needs to be changed. Once a person show signs of harming another, the opportunity for him/her to own a gun should be revoked. Stricter gun laws so those who are capable and competent to own a gun, are able to do so..

This is the kind of wacko that society is trying to keep guns away from he is on a path to do some serious harm to one or more people. He will in the end probably get his hands on a weapon from someone and no one knows what kind of mayhem he will inflict.

Kramer do you want to be the one to issue a gun to a man that has been arrested for domestic batter, battery on a police officer and attempted to take the Officers gun, He has been in jail twice know both for battery charges and has also been banned from the house and kicked out of the GSR and kicked from the Democratic caucus and you want this man to have a weapon. I am not against peoples rights or anything but when you have all the red flags pointed at you why would you issue this man a weapon for.

couldn't or wouldn't? Typical NV 'czar' attitude...isn't Mr. Brooks entitled to due process (outside the hyena media)?
