RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Burgarello Alarm would like to notify the public that within the past two weeks there have been at least two instances of a person not associated with the company in any way approaching existing customers who have yard signs or window stickers with the Burgarello Alarm logo on them in the Hidden Valley area and asking them if they would like to upgrade their alarm system.

The description given of the suspect by the most recent call-in of October 9, 2012 is:

•“Young Guy”
•Average Build
•Wearing a shirt with the “GE” logo. (No Burgarello Alarm Logo)
•Driving a 2002 blue Toyota Camry.

All Burgarello Alarm Technicians arrive at the customer's home or business location wearing a Burgarello Alarm logo shirt, in a vehicle very clearly marked with the Burgarello Alarm logo, the phone number, services they provide and license number, unless specifically requested by the customer to perform a “covert” installation. All Burgarello Alarm employees carry an “Employee Identification Card” with the employee’s photo and name along with other information that can be verified by calling the office.

Any alarm customer coming into contact with a person in this type of scenario, no matter what alarm company is providing them alarm services, should contact law enforcement authorities immediately.
