Go about 45 miles East of Fallon on Highway 50. There's a nice open area the Navy will let you use for a few days. Because apparently there's no intelligent life present at this Burning Moron Celebration. Just a bunch of dopers out in the desert wasting taxpayers money to clean up after them.

Just park on the side of the damn road till they open the gates! Where are 30 to 40,000 people suppose to go in that area..........nowhere! Maybe BRUNO will take some in one of his lots for $500 a night, what a gouger! No contingency has been made so open the damn gates and let them in! Getting stuck and dealing with the mud should only make this the best year ever at burning man! These folk's want a life experience, hell, let em!

What an embarrassing and ignorant news clip for Reno Residents. The comments on this story should include that those in Reno and the News station feel for the participants who have spent money in the Reno area already and are unfortunately not allowed to enter the event they have visited the area for. In my opinion, the unfortunate event (Weather) should not be celebrated, as the female news anchor alludes to by motioning “Making Money”. The news anchor shows no sympathy for the Thousands who are now changing plans and trying to overcome the bad luck. The male anchor then goes on to make an ignorant comment that the participants will have to sit around and do what “Burning People” do…….. The anchors obviously have no idea what the event is and how many local residents attend.

Rain and muddy roads have led to the closure of Burning Man at least through Monday. (I had to get this from another local news station.)

What weather? Is it windy? Why no weather details?
