UPDATE: The Care Flight helicopter was flying from Truckee to Winnemucca to pick-up a patient. A pilot, nurse and paramedic were on board. Another aircraft from Elko was called in to help the patient.
SPANISH SPRINGS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - A Care Flight helicopter had a to make a precautionary landing in Spanish Springs Wednesday afternoon.
Dispatch tells News 4 a warning light came on and the pilot decided to land on a Spanish Springs hillside.
There were no patients on board the helicopter.
Care Flight was headed to a medical call out of county, but dispatch could not release where the helicopter was heading.
