UPDATE 9:10pm - Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong confirms that a fourth victim of today's tragic shooting has died. The victim was a female member of the Nevada National Guard, had been flown to Renown Medical Center and had undergone surgery.
To date, four victims have died (3 Nevada National Guard members and one civilian); the shooter has also died.
UPDATE 5:10pm - Sheriff Furlong tells us that Eduardo Sencion was a single male not involved in any type of relationship. Sencion shouted something when entering but it is unclear what was said. No motive is clear at this time. One version of an AK-47 rifle was used, and two additional guns 1 pistol and 1 rifle were uncovered at or near the blue minivan Sencion was driving. The blue minivan was identified as his brother's.
Two guardsmen were killed. Three additional injured National Guard members were two females, and one male. The gunman seemed to have a fixation on the table of military personnel who were visibly identifiable. There is no indication that Sencion knew anyone in the restaurant.
3 of the 12 victims are dead, 1 of the deceased is the shooter.
UPDATE 3:10pm - Information on the shooter Eduardo Sencion DOB July 22nd, 1979 lives in Carson City and had no criminal history. Sencion worked at a family business in South Lake Tahoe, on the California side. Gunman used AK-47 in deadly shooting.
As of the 3pm news conference - 3 pronounced dead, 2 of the 3 dead were from National Guard, 1 was a civilian female. 8 other persons were identified as being victims, of those 8, 3 were with the National Guard.
UPDATE 12:06 pm: Associated Press has officially reported the Carson City gunman is dead. 4 officially dead in shooting. 5 National Guard members were shot, 2 National Guard members confirmed dead. 3 of the National Guard members are in the hospital.
Sheriff's are interviewing over 100 witnesses.
Senator Dean Heller's statement on the shooting: “I am deeply saddened by the news of today’s tragic event in Carson. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims as well as their families and loved ones. I commend the medical and law enforcement communities for their professionalism during this crisis,” said Senator Heller.
Statement from Congresswoman Shelley Berkley - “I am deeply saddened and heartbroken over the shooting today in Carson City that left six of our fellow Nevadans injured and three dead, including two members of the Nevada National Guard. This is a tragic day for Nevada. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the families and loved ones of each of those killed and to all those who were wounded. They are in my prayers. I have been in touch with local leaders, law enforcement and the Nevada National Guard to express my concern for those who are injured and to extend my condolences regarding this tragic loss of life.”

9 others have been shot, 3 confirmed dead. 2 of the 3 dead are military.
Shooter is still alive and breathing with what is to believed as a self inflicted gun shot wound.
Some victims have been transported by Careflight to Renown in Reno. Other's have been transported to Carson-Tahoe Medical Center. Not sure where the shooter was transported to.
UPDATE 10:53 a.m. -Statement from the Governors Office:
Governor Brian Sandoval is working in Las Vegas today. He is receiving regular updates on the shooting in Carson City and is coordinating his office’s response with that of state and local law enforcement. The Governor and First Lady wish to extend their sympathy to the victims and their families.
(MyNews4.com & KRNV) - Carson City, Nev. - Two people are dead following a shooting inside and outside the IHOP in South Carson City.
Carson City police tell News 4 the gunman shot himself after shooting several people with a semi automatic gun.
At least four victims were taken to Carson-Tahoe hospital, four others were flown to Renown.
All state building have been put on lockdown. A business in the area tells News 4 nearby businesses have also been put on lockdown.
Nevada Highway Patrol is confirming they are assisting with traffic control in the area for a shooting.
