CARSON CITY, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The inmate who escaped from a Carson City prison Tuesday is still on the loose and was last seen in Genoa.

According to Douglas County Sheriff's Sergeant Pat Brooks, James McDowell was last seen with a woman on Wednesday night at a Genoa bar. Douglas County deputies searched for McDowell in the area, but were unable to locate him or the potential female accomplice.

McDowell is described as a white male adult, around 6 ft. weighing 175 lbs. and having numerous tattoos. He was believed to be wearing a white tank top, and he could be with a female.

McDowell was incarcerated for grand theft auto and has a felony warrant for his arrest out of Texas. Officials are asking residents to call 911 if they see someone matching McDowell's description.
