RENO, Nev (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Catholic Charities is seeking donations and volunteers for the upcoming "Project Homeless Connect" event, which begins February 4. The event is part of a community-wide plan to help connect homeless individuals and families with a one-stop shop for services, such as medical care, job resources, housing assistance, and much more.
Anne Schiller says any help the organization can get is much appreciated. "It really means a lot to them. We need anything that will keep them warm, because it's cold outside."
Donations can be dropped off at 224 Edison Way, Suite 500 in Reno. If you're interested in volunteering, you can contact Jim Williams from Catholic Charities at 322-7073, Ext. 222.
