RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The Nevada Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, or NCET, held their annual awards ceremony on Thursday. These awards recognize people in the community who chose to start and advance their businesses in Reno, and the success they have had in the community.
Chef and Owner of Campo Restaurant Mark Estee won the Large Business Entreprenuer of the Year award. He spoke about what goes into creating a good business. "We treat people like we want to be treated. We have respect for our community, we have respect for our products, we have respect for our guests, our fellow employees, and our fellow community members, and really we take that and turn that into a restaurant. And if we can kinda deliver that on a daily basis, you know, I think we have a leg up."
Lieutenant Governor Brian Krolicki was the Master of Ceremonies.
