RENO, Nev. -- The Washoe County Child Advocacy Center will be opening its doors Friday. The nearly 8,000 sq. ft. facility is a child friendly complex that expands services for our county's youngest victims. Their mission is to ensure the health and safety of children through a child-centered environment.
The program is designed to minimize trauma and provide advocacy for the child and support effective investigations. The grand opening will be Friday, June 13, at 3:30 p.m. on Longley Lane.
