FALLON, Nev. (Mynew4.com & KRNV)- Churchill County Sheriff Ben Trotter says that although there has been no new updates on the majority of deceased dogs found in Fallon, they are following a lead on two dogs found by News 4 last week.
According to Trotter, the deceased dogs found by News 4 Reporter Brooke Boone were found to have been shot by a shotgun, instead of a regular .22 gun used to shoot the 11 other dogs found in Fallon. Also, one of the dogs found by News 4 was microchipped, which has the Sheriff's Office able to locate the previous owner and follow a possible lead in the case involving the two dogs.
So far there has been no leads or updates on the other 11 deceased dogs in Fallon.
