FERNLEY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The Fernley City Council announced tonight that Christopher Good has been selected as the new City of Fernley City Manager.
Good was unanimously approved by the City Council after an extensive nine month selection process.
Good has more than 20 years of experience, including 14 years at the City of Reno. Prior to his service in Reno, he worked for the City of Las Cruces, New Mexico, for more than four years. Good has held a variety of positions throughout his public service career, including Public Information Officer, Acting Community Relations Director, Web Master, Assistant to the City Manager and Director of Neighborhood Services.
Good will officially start as City Manager on February 18.
