City of Sparks announces Labor Day closures, swimming hours

SPARKS, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- According to a press release from the City of Sparks, Sparks City Hall and other entities will be closed on Labor Day, which is Monday, September 1.

Additionally, Sparks Parks & Recreation will be closed, including the Alf Sorensen Community Center and the Larry D. Johnson Community Center. 

The Sparks City Attorney’s Office and Municipal Court will also be closed.

Swimming, however, must go on! Swimming will be available at the Sparks Marina in the designated swim area only from Saturday to Monday during allocated hours: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Deer Park Pool will be open for swimming from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
