College Kick Start program launched

RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- The Nevada College Kick Start program is scheduled to launch on Tuesday. State Treasurer Kate Marshall and Washoe County School District Superintendent Pedro Martinez will be kicking off the program in Anderson Elementary School's cafeteria at 2 p.m.

The Nevada College Kick Start program helps support the dream of a college education by establishing a $50 college savings account for each public school Kindergarten student in Nevada.
