RENO, NEV. (KRNV & MyNews4.com)-- With the help of a little wine and talented instructors, anyone can unleash their inner artist. Picasso & Wine in the heart of the Reno Midtown District is teaching students the step by step process to create their own masterpieces.
Owners Alanna and Alissa Woods say it's rewarding inspiring people to relax, let go of their day-to-day stresses, and just paint.
Classes are held Tuesday through Sunday and are perfect for birthday parties, team building, ladies night or even a date.
Music can be heard from the street of Saint Lawerence Ave. as instructors walk students through each step of the painting of the instructors' choice, typically starting with the background of the painting and working outwards to the fine details.
Alissa Woods has been painting nearly all of her life and says it's a rewarding feeling seeing the end product, and nearly everyone leaves feeling accomplished.
Picasso & Wine has called Midtown home for about a year and in the last three months has exploded in popularity. They accept almost 30 people per class.
The month of December is nearly completely booked.
As the holidays come around, gift cards are also available and can serve as a great gift for a loved one.
