RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- A standoff involving multiple agencies ended in the arrest of three people.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the Parole and Probation Division was following a silver car on I-580 near the Mill Street exit when they witnessed shots being fired from the car. The Parole and Probation Division were in an unmarked car and followed the vehicle to the Food Mart on the corner of Kietzke and Mill.
Two males and one female refused to get out of the car, prompting a standoff with NHP and the Reno Police Department.
Troopers say it is still early in the investigation. "We don't know who they were shooting at, if they were shooting at anybody, what exactly was fired," said NHP Sgt. Mike Edsall. "I can tell you right now that, through out investigation, we have found one semi-automatic pistol in the vehicle, along with a semi-automatic or automatic AK-47 assault rifle-type weapon."
No shots were fired during the standoff, and no one was hurt. Troopers said the female was very intoxicated when they arrested her.

RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Reno Police has shut down a stretch of Kietzke Lane, near Mill Street, after reports of gunshots being fired.
Police say the shots were from a vehicle on Kietzke Lane. The suspects are not yet in custody.
According to eyewitness accounts, there are multiple suspects who were waving guns while driving on the freeway. The witness followed the car to a food mart.
Police are trying to talk them out of the store.
