CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Convicted Murderer Simon Macias was denied parole yesterday, 22 years after murdering his 19-year-old wife Susan Nicoletti.
Macias' next eligible date for parole is May 1, 2016.
Macias testified before the Nevada Parole Board in Carson City on February 7, via closed circuit television, saying he's rehabilitated and would not commit another crime. His family and Nicoletti's family attended the hearing, and at times, the testimony got heated between the two families.
