Counterfeit drugs sold to area cancer center

CARSON CITY, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Two men in New York face charges of selling counterfeit drugs to a company in Carson City.

The President and Vice-President of Pharmalogical Inc. pleaded not guilty to selling more than $17 million in counterfeit or unapproved drugs to multiple places, including a cancer center in Carson City.

The alleged scheme happened from 2009 to 2013, and includes cancer drugs and birth control. Some of these were improperly labeled, and some were not FDA approved.
