UPDATE - 5:34PM - Acoording to David Niehas with Sparks Fire, two men ages 19 and 23 were pulled from the river this afternoon. The call came in around 3:20pm.

Niehas says a little brother of one of the victims started getting people's attention and was screaming for help. Niehas tells me both men were submerged under water and dive teams had to go into find them. Both men were transported to Renown.

Niehas says the men's conditions weren't good, and the men were not responding to CPR. They have not been pronounced dead, and their names haven't been released. He says they were swimming at the time of the incident.

He says this is a reminder that parts of the river can be treacherous and there can be deep holes with strong currents.
