RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The Nevada DMV is offering some advice for undocumented immigrants looking to get their Driver Authorization Cards: study. According to DMV officials, 75% of applicants have failed the written test.

Nevada is the eleventh state to allow undocumented citizens to apply for Driver Authorization Cards, similar to a driver's license. Since last week, thousands of undocumented citizens have applied for the card, but many have left empty-handed. Others were turned away due to over crowding.

Applicants must correctly answer 80% of 50 questions to pass the test, and pass a driving test as well.

B sides all the self-rightous ranting, has anybody considered that NV DMV has a test that is for boneheads and leadfoots (locals)? I took a course 2 work off a ticket, it had no real Defensive Driving besides some weird 'eyes up' stuff. Think "out of the box", for once.

Why study for the test. We got everything else for free so far they say. I'm here, I'm entitled, right? Didn't have to study for my citizenship application. Don't have to fill out insurance forms or tax information but I'm illegal so I'm entitled. So we are now surprised they are failing driver tests? Are you kidding me? Remember the law! IT IS ILLEGAL TO LIVE IN THIS COUNTRY ILLEGALLY! but if you make it we have resources for you. Sheer genius!!!!!

Kind of helps explain why half of "accidents" include drivers leaving the scene--they are unlicensed illegals afraid of arrest and deportation for crimes such as DUI, driving without a license, vehicular homicide.....

While it's easy to take shots at the illegals, the fact is that as long as we keep electing bought and paid for politicians nothing is going to change.Until laws can be passed to make it a jailing offence to hire and employ them corporations and the 1%ers will keep this game going.

Well, this should cause those of them who haven't already done so to take classes in English. They'll need it to survive here.
