DAYTON, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- A Dayton man is in jail for felony extortion after authorities say he offered a woman information about her stolen car in exchange for money.

Deputies say 43-year-old Robert Edwin Deuel made arrangements to meet up with the woman at a casino, where he would take her to her car in exchange for $200. Deputies questioned Deuel, but Deuel said he did not know where the stolen car was.

He was also found with a knife in his pocket, and another on his belt buckle.
