GARDNERVILLE, Nev. (KNRV & MyNews4.com) - Highway patrol are reporting that one woman has died after her car rolled on Saturday, October 6th.
According to NHP, the rollover occured at 5:20 p.m. when a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee travelling west on Mottsville Lane drove into the the dirt shoulder on the side of the road and rolled, throwing the driver from the vehicle. Police have identified the driver as 63 year old Lynette Lucille Cieri of Carson City. She was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash and was fatally wounded in the accident.
Police are unsure exactly what caused the accident, but do say that speed was likely a factor.
Police are searching for witnesses as part of the investigation.
