RENO, Nev (KRNV & MyNews4.com) – Death Row Inmate Robert Farmer, died of natural causes Tuesday night at the age of 56.
The convicted murderer had been transferred from Ely State Prison to High Desert State Prison on April 18th, for medical reasons. Later that day he was taken to Valley Hospital in Las Vegas.
According to staff reports, Farmer had a serious medical condition and had signed orders to “Do Not Resuscitate.”
The Clark County Coroners office was notified that Farmer died while under medical care.
Farmer was serving a Death Sentence along with a Life Without the Possibility of Parole with a Consecutive 30 year sentence for 1st Degree Murder (2 counts), 2nd Degree Kidnapping, Robbery with the Use of a Deadly Weapon and Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle which occurred in Clark County and Washoe County in 1982.
