SPANISH SPRINGS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Just before 6:30 this morning, a man was stabbed and his car was stolen. His wounds are non-life threatening, but he did go to a hospital, according to Bob Harmon with Washoe County Sheriff's Office.

This happened in the Spanish Springs area, in the hills behind Spanish Springs High School.

Deputies say they are searching for the suspect and stolen vehicle. The vehicle is described as a 1998 Maroon Kia with black bumpers and California license plates. The car was last seen near Mercedes and the Eagle Canyon area, west of Pyramid Highway.
