I once filed a complaint to the State Bar of Nevada against a lawyer who failed to file the proper paper work prior to the statutes of limitations running out and was asked by the State Bar of Nevada who I thought I was for filing a frivolous complaint? I told them where they could shove it and then proceeded to find a lawyer from out of state who took my case. I ultimately won the case in court and was awarded a substantial settlement. My view of the State Bar of Nevada is that they are nothing more than prostitutes to their own. Any lay person who if convicted of three felonies would not be granted a reprieve until the Supreme Court ruled on the merits of campaign donations. Nevada the Mississippi of the West is a good old boy state and this will not change!

It seems that lawyers policing lawyers doesn't work. Like doctors, bankers, and other high dollar occupations. This guy has plead guilty to 3 felonies and should be in jail serving his miniscule sentence

Nevada has a very high turnover in business people and employees due to the Nevada right to work law as well as the AT WILL law resulting in a high transient rate

Here we go again -- the fox guarding the chickens. Anyone but an attorney would be suspended, at least. Politics anyone???
