RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Joel Silverman, Hollywood animal trainer and Animal Planet star, will debut a new television show that includes dogs and cats at Nevada Humane Society.
Dog and Cat Training with Joel Silverman will premiere Saturday, September 15 at 7:30am on the CW Reno/My 21 TV in Reno. Joel will share the training techniques he developed through years as a Hollywood animal trainer to help people learn to resolve behavior challenges and develop a richer relationship with their pets.
Dog and Cat Training by Joel Silverman includes segments about K9s of Orange County, Animal Actors, Cat Training, Advanced Behaviors, and Working Dogs. It also showcases several cats and dogs at Nevada Humane Society, demonstrating how any animal can be successfully trained with the right motivation.
“I wanted people to see that a cat can be trained with very basic techniques,” said Silverman. “By watching the show, you’ll learn how easy it can be to train a cat. Dogs too, of course, even those that have also been at the shelter for a period of time.”
Dog and Cat Training with Joel Silverman is just one of many accomplishments for Silverman. For over 30 years, Silverman has maintained a successful career in training animals to star in live shows, Hollywood films, television programs and most notably, IAMS commercials. He has also written two books on dog training lets add the names of the books here in italics and a third is in progress.
