SPARKS, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- A domestic disturbance got the attention of neighbors, and law enforcement on Thursday.

The fight between a Sparks couple escalated to the point neighbors called police, but when officers responded to the home in the 1100-block of Union Street, the man who lives there would not come out.

After an hour of talking to the man, he exited his home, visibly upset. Officers said they took the man in for a mental health evaluation.

No one was hurt in the incident.
