FERNLEY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The driver who was killed in a crash in Fernley Sunday has been identified.
Nevada Highway Patrol says the driver who was killed in the single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 80 near mile marker 75 yesterday morning has been identified as 32-year-old Bradley W. Weimer of Burson, California.
Weimer had been traveling west on Interstate 80 around 8:30 am, approximately 29 miles east of Fernley, when his gray 2003 Nissan Murano SUV drifted toward the center media area. NHP says the vehicle continued to travel through the center median and toward the eastbound travel lanes when it began to rollover. The vehicle rolled over several times as it crossed both eastbound lanes before coming to rest on its wheels near the south side of the freeway. No other vehicles were involved in this crash.
NHP says although he was wearing a seat belt, the injuries sustained in the rollover were deadly and he was pronounced deceased at the crash scene.
