MONO COUNTY, Calif. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- A man has been arrested for alleged drunk driving after a traffic stop on U.S. 395.
According to a police report, Ethan Gilbert of Newhall, California, was driving on U.S. 395 northbound, just south of Convict Lake Road when he was stopped by the California Highway Patrol for speeding. The officer smelled alcohol and had Gilbert perform field sobriety tests. The alcohol screening test was .27%, more than three times the legal limit of .08%.
Gilbert was arrested for driving under the influence and booked into the Mono County Jail in Bridgeport.
