RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com)---An intoxicated man was hit by a freight train on railroad tracks on Sutro Rd. near Commerical St.
Reno Police say the male subject was standing too close to the tracks around 9 a.m. this morning and was struck by the freight train, travelling between 5 to 10 miles per hour. It is unknown if the man was leaning toward the train when he was struck or was in the path of the train.
The man was transported to Renown with minor injuries.
