The national economy continues its road to recovery...that's the word from an economic forum featuring several experts from the banking and finance industries. This morning's forum was held at The Grove in South Reno and was put on by City National Bank.
Joe Hart had the chance the serve as moderator posing questions to several guest speakers on the panel. With recent signs of growth in the housing market and the gains we've seen on Wall Street, organizers of the event agreed things are heading in the right direction.
Larry Charlton said “We are heading up. It was mentioned today it takes about seven years. We're in the sixth year of recovery so things are looking better.”
While there are many positive signs, Nevada continues to lag behind the rest of the nation in terms of economic recovery. Experts on hand today pointed to improving our education system as the key to long term economic success.
