EL DORADO COUNTY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deputy involved shooting death of a Pollock Pines man.
Deputies say they were dispatched to the 2900 block of Kimberly Lane in Pollock Pines where there were reports of a suicidal adult male with a firearm, but before deputies made it on scene, the man identified as Christopher Michael Sheldon left the house and was found standing in the middle of the roadway on Pony Express Trail. During this time, gunfire was exchanged and Sheldon was killed on the scene.
No deputies were injured. The investigation is ongoing.
