RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - Jane Albright announced Thursday the team captains for the 2012-13 Nevada Wolf Pack Women's Basketball season.
The captains were voted on by team members and include two juniors and one sophomore. Sophomore Emily Burns, who attended Galena High School, was named one of the three captains. Also named were Danika Sharp of West Wendover, Nev. (West Wendover High School) and Arielle Wideman of Chino Hills, Calif. (Bishop Amat).
Coach Albright said, "All three have done a good job of leading our team this year after a difficult 2011-12 season... Each has had great success of leading their respective high schools in the past and I am excited for them to lead us in our first year in the Mountain West.”
