STOREY COUNTY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Jeremy Morales, the inmate who escaped Storey County Jail earlier this month was found this afternoon around 5:00. The Sheriff's Office was following a tip from a resident who had been out on his ATV in American Flats. The Sheriff's Office were able to locate Morales' tracks and found him hiding in some bushes.
Storey County Sheriff Gerald Antinoro tells News 4 Morales was found just 2.5 half miles from the jail near Moundhouse just outside the Storey County boundaries. Morales had some injuries to his feet and is suffering from dehydration. He was taken into custody and booked back into the Storey County Jail.
