Event to help send 4 veterans to DC

DAYTON, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce is putting on Oodles of Noodles. The event is two days in Old Town Dayton, NV and provides food provided by our contestants and food vendors, entertainment, local talent, and tons of vendor and business booths.

The Oodles of Noodles Cook-off will be Saturday from 10am-2pm. Tasting Tickets are $5 for Adults and $3 for Children.

The entertainment includes, Veterans Honor Parade, Battle Born Civil War Re-enactors, Devils Gate Gunfighters, Sierra Adrenaline, Patriotic themed Pet Parade, Nevada River Wranglers, Veterans Pancake Breakfast, Dayton High School Jazz Band, Reno Corvette Club, Bounce houses for the kids, live music by Junction West and tons more fun.

The event will also showcase an RV Show by Carson City RV, and Brand New 2013 vehicles by Carson City Toyota Scion.

The Dayton Chamber of Commerce will be “Making a Difference” supporting Honor Flights Nevada. The goal is to send four WWII Veterans from the VFW Post #8660 on a well-deserved trip to Washington, D.C. to see their monument.
