RENO, Nev. (AP) — Federal agents in Reno now have a description of the suspect they think fatally shot a 25-year-old man outside the Walmart just east of downtown.
The FBI is leading the investigation because Sonny Wayne Lewis was killed just before 1 a.m. on Jan. 27 in the store's parking lot on property of the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s with a light complexion, husky build and light-colored short hair with male pattern balding.
The FBI says he was last seen wearing a long-sleeved black shirt without a collar. He was driving a white Chevy Venture minivan that was manufactured between 1997 and 2005.
Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI in Reno at 775-328-4000.
