There is new information following our recent Fact Finder investigation into an illegal botox operation here in Reno.
The Nevada State Medical Board has contacted News 4 and they tell us they plan to review our undercover investigation as possible evidence.
In that report Sandra Rennert, who also goes by the name Sandra Bledsoe, offered to inject our producer with botox even though Sandra admitted on tape that she knew the practice was illegal because she is not licensed.
Sandra was also arrested in Las Vegas in 2011 but was never formally charged.   The Clark County District Attorney's office continues to blame the Nevada State Medical Board for not providing information for a complete investigation.  The medical board says it did provide everything that was asked for.
The Nevada State Nursing Board, the pharmacy board, state health division and Reno Police are all looking into the case as a result of our investigation.
Also, the Ageless Zone Medical Spa on Meadowood Mall Circle plans to hold a free educational seminar on Sunday May 19th to educate people about the proper and legal use of botox.  The seminar will feature doctors and aestheticians and will run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m on Sunday.
